Join us for a sojourn into the heart of the Himalaya. On this 10 day journey you will bask in the beauty of a country barely touched by the passage of time.

Feel the spirit of Nepal!

  • Meet Nepal in it’s capital, Kathmandu. Visit the worlds largest Buddhist shrine, behold medieval architectural wonders, ancient monuments and the temple of the living goddess.
  • Take time for personal reflection through yoga, meditation and/or connection with nature.
  • Discover the joy of living simply in the no frill accommodations of mountain lodges also known as tea houses.
  • Explore your physical potential as you hike from village to village, in high elevation. About 5 hours a day of moderate hiking at your own pace.
  • Drink in your first glimpse of snow capped mountains glistening in magical color as the first rays of sunlight create a natural canvas.
  • Cross suspension bridges, ascend through a hazelnut forest, meander through beautiful villages and rice terraces.
  • Bid farewell to the Himalaya toward journey’s end with a cleanse in the healing waters of hot spring fed pools.

Through a group Facebook page we will support planning of gatherings and monthly hikes to prepare physically, mentally, and spiritually for our journey.

Pricing:

$1648 per person based on double occupancy* (group of 10)

Trekking is easy/moderate. Elevations will start from 1350 meters and your highest point will be 3210 meters. Our days will be 6 to 7 hours combining trekking, some up and down, stopping for views, local interactions, photography and meditations in nature.

ITINERARY

Nov. 3 Day 1: Kathmandu (1400m) Welcome to Kathmandu!
We mark the start of your adventure with warm greetings at the Tribhuvan International Airport. After transferring from the airport to your hotel in Kathmandu, you can relax and explore the area at your own leisure.
Nov. 4 Day 2: Kathmandu (1400m) Briefing and Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
We spend a full day in Kathmandu today which will be a necessary acclimatization day as well. After breakfast, we will meet for a trip briefing where we will talk about our trip in details and answer your questions. After the brief meeting you will experience an amazing cultural sightseeing tour of heritage sites in Kathmandu valley. The sites for sightseeing today include Swoyambhunath – the oldest monument in Kathmandu valley, Kathmandu Durbar Square – to see the temple of Living Goddess and other medieval architectural wonders, Pashupatinath – to immerse into Hindu death rites on the bank of a holy river, and Boudhanath – a massive Buddhist shrine considered as the biggest in the world.
Nov. 5 Day 3: Pokhara (900m) Kathmandu to Pokhara
Pack your bags and we will head to Pokhara via a 6-hours overland journey. Along the way, enjoy views of the Himalayan peaks and countryside hills. Once we reach Pokhara, you will have time to wander around the charming lake city. Rest for the night there, in preparation of the big day tomorrow.
Nov. 6 Day 4: Ulleri (1960m) Pokhara to Ulleri
First day of our journey on foot! We begin with a short 1.5-hour transfer by vehicle to Nayapul, which is our starting point. After checking into the Annapurna Conservation Area, we will walk up a dirt road leading to Hile, with lunch break along the way. The trail then starts to Tikhedhunga, which is a short distance away. We will take a break there to gather our energy before climbing the steep steps up to the scenic village in Ulleri, where we end for the day.
Nov. 7 Day 5: Ghorepani (2810m) Ulleri to Ghorepani
We will go at an easy pace today. Ulleri provides the first glimpse of snow-capped mountain peaks, and as the trail ascends gradually towards Banthanti, we can enjoy spectacular views of the sacred Machapuchare (Fishtail). then enters schima and hazelnut forests, before leading us out to Nangethanti. After lunch, the route will be filled with beautiful rhododendron blooms. As we reach upper Ghorepani, spectacular mountain views will welcome us to this beautiful settlement POONHILL (3210m)
Nov. 8 Day 6: Tadapani (2710m) Ghorepani to Tadapani, with sunrise hike to Poonhill
We will get up early to hike up to Poonhill, the famous view point and highlight of our trip that lies at 3,210 meters above sea level. It boasts panoramic views of the mountai n peaks in the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range. As the sun rises, the mighty peaks become a natural canvas when the first rays of sun-light pours magical colors upon them. Head back to our teahouse for breakfast, and then we are back on the road. We ascend up steep stone stairs before hitting a long downhill stretch where we can catch our breath. Finish with a burst of uphill climb to reach Tadapani, and there we can enjoy up close views of Annapurna south, the Fishtail and Hiunchuli.
Nov. 9 Day 7: Chhomrong (2300m) Tadapani to Chhomrong and down to Jhinu Hot spring
The trail descends steeply through rhododendron and oak forests before arriving at a teahouse in Chuile for lunch. We continue down to a river and cross a suspension bridge, then start going uphill steeply before petering out to a gradual slope. The final section for the day is easy trail to Chomrong, after walking down hill 30m you will arrive in Jhinu danda, can take hot bath.
Nov. 10 Day 8: Ghandruk (1900m) Jhinu Hotspring to Ghandruk Village
The trail descends gradually through a forested area as we trek to Ghandruk today. Hike up to Beautiful Ghandruk Village, where the Himalayan panorama welcomes us again. Immerse in the cultural beauty of this ethnic Gurung village and enjoy the Himalayan magnificence.
Nov. 11 Day 9: Pokhara (900m) Ghandruk to Pokhara
Today is the final day of our journey. Our route will be complete as we loop back to Nayapul. The Modi Khola will lead us there, meandering through beautiful villages, rice terraces and wheat fields down its steep banks. Our time in the serene mountains will come to an end when we check out at Nayapul. A vehicle will drive us back to Pokhara, where the comforts of the city await.
Nov. 12 Day 10: Kathmandu (1400m) Pokhara to Kathmandu
Fly off from Pokhara Domestic Airport to Kathmandu in the morning. Once there, you are free to explore the colorful town or rest at the hotel. We will meet again in the evening for a celebratory dinner, with a Nepali cultural show, to commemorate your conquest of the Himalayas.

All good things must end as we come to your final day in Nepal. Transport to the airport for your flight home. We bid you farewell, and may you leave with beautiful memories and a wonderful experience of the Himalayas.
