The vast plains of the Serengeti, the lush greens inside a protected crater, teeming with wildlife, from jungle to desert, search the scene for wildlife.

Ten nights on an amazing wildlife viewing safari. This experience is designed specifically for our clients by our local Tanzanian guides. You will experience local foods, music, language and culture. From exploring the markets and streets of Arusha, to bumping along in a four wheel drive jeep, searching out animals in their natural habitat, every day will be a new adventure.

You will stay in delightful safari lodges as well as luxury tented camps. Greeted in song, “Hakuna Matata!”

We work locally to reduce the expenses of the ‘middle man’ and ensure great care on every aspect of your trip. From comfortable accommodations to wonderful food, to transportation, and with delightful, knowledgeable guides. You, as our guests, can sit back and just enjoy the view!

$4450.00 per person based on double occupancy. Solo traveler? No worries, we will pair same gender roommates together in twin accommodations.

Day 1: Arrive in Arusha, Tanzania
Upon arrival in Arusha, Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our tour staff who will help you gather your belongings and assist at customs and immigration. Then, you will be transferred to a beautiful lodge for your first overnight in Africa. (Overnight in Arusha at Ilboru Safari Lodge or similar)

Day 2: Arusha National Park
Today, you will head to Arusha National Park for a game drive. This is the smallest park but has incredibly diverse scenery and wildlife. Game drive through lush forest where rare black and white colobus monkeys can be spotted in the trees. Also keep an eye out for buffalo, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks and so many species of birds. We will head back to the lodge later this afternoon for relaxing time. (Overnight in Arusha at Ilboru Safari Lodge or similar)

Days 3: Tarangire National Park
Departing Arusha we will drive across the Maasai village on our way to Tarangire National Park, which is the fourth largest and one of the greatest concentrations of wildlife. From our luxury tented camp you will have excellent and easy access to the wildlife. This park is famous for its majestic Baobab Trees and Acacia Tortilla Trees. On the game drive, you will be able to spot big groups of Elephants, Impalas, Warthog, Lion, Leopard, Gerenuk, Zebra, Giraffe, Water-buck and over 300 species of birds. Also you might be lucky enough to spot the African pythons snake hanging on the acacia trees. (Overnight in Tarangire, Ang ‘ata luxury tented camp)

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Today we head to Ngorongoro Crater, which is one of the greatest destinations in the world; with lake, forest, savannah, and astounding population of about 30,000 animals within 102 square miles. Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Today you will cross the short grass plains to Ngorongoro Crater, with game viewing as we are heading to our camp. Lunch will be at a picnic site. We will visit the fascinating Maasai tribe and view their dancing and singing and learn about their way of life. You will meet the chief and his family.  (Overnight Ang ‘ata Tented Camp)

Days 5: Ngorongoro Crater
This morning you will descend 2,000 feet to the base of the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of a game viewing. In this unique environment, you will search for a wide variety of wildlife such as Cheetahs, hippo, hyena, gazelle, including the big “Big Five” elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and African buffalo. You will also spot many species of birds including Kori Bustards, Marabou stork, Ostrich, crowned cranes and much more. Return to the lodge in time for hot showers, dinner and watch sun set at the campsite. (Overnight Ang ‘ata tented camp)

Day 6: Serengeti National Park.

Today we leave the crater and make our way through the Great Rift Valley, Maasai Country to the Serengeti. We will explore the great Serengeti for the next three days. Serengeti National Park is one of the largest and most famous parks in the world because of the annual migration of wildebeest. It covers nearly 6,000 square miles of grassland plains, savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and riverine forest.

Once we arrive you will experience game viewing on the endless plain of the Serengeti. You will spot the BIG FIVE animals: Lions, Rhinos, Elephants, Leopards, and the African Buffalo. Also over 300 species of birds including Vultures can be seen in this park. The Serengeti National Park is also the home of the Cheetah, Hyena, Wildebeest, Zebra and so many others animals. Game viewing with a box lunch until you return for dinner. (Overnight Ang ‘ata luxury tented camp)

Day 7 & 8: Serengeti National Park.
Today we hope to see many Wildebeest babies being born. Thousands give birth during this time of year to ensure the babies are grown enough before the great migration season starts. We will continue our search for other animals we haven’t yet scene and possibly the elusive leopard. (Overnight Ang ‘ata luxury tented camp)

Day 9: Serengeti National Park
After an early departure we will exit the great Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge. Wildlife viewing as we travel, you will make a brief stop at a fascinating archeological museum where the remains of the earliest human being were discovered in this area 3 million years ago. A special treat awaits you this evening at our wonderful lodge.(Overnight Acacia Farm Lodge)

Day 10: Back to Arusha
Depart after breakfast and drive back to Arusha on time for a bit of shopping and a farewell late lunch. Rest and relax before transfer to the international airport for your departing flight. (Day rooms Ilboru Safari Lodge)
